The Foundation’s purpose is to support qualified charities focusing in the humanities, education, or the performing and fine arts.
We have a bifurcated grant process. Small operating grants (under $5k) are awarded via a discretionary fund available to the E.D.
These grants are made primarily in Stillwater and Yellowstone County, Montana, and Sheridan County, Wyoming.
Larger requests go through a formal application review process with the Board. The board reviews all applications and votes on grants to be made.
We operate with 2 grant cycles; one begins in March-April and make grants in May, and with the other, we collect applications in September-October and grants are awarded in November.
